Nintendo 3DS Soon to Have Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire

Pokémon fans rejoice! Nintendo has announced the remake for third generation of Pokemon games. Coming this November, Pokémon Omega Ruby andPokémon Alpha Sapphire. In 2003 the original Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire launched for the Game Boy Advance, eleven years later both are being remade for the Nintendo 3DS.
How does the internet feel about this news? Eccstatic. Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire represent the third generation of Pokemon and to some people, the best generation.  Pokémon SoulSilver and Pokémon HeartGold were released for the Nintendo DS in 2010 (2009 for Japan), with so many years having passed already it seemed the Pokemon Company had no intention of remaking the third generation, but that is not the case.
Nintendo has been floundering where the Wii U is concerned, but the Nintendo 3DS keeps releasing excellent game after excellent game. Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be coming out in November worldwide and they will only boost the strength of the 3DS even more. As for a specific date, one has not been announced yet. Here is the announcement trailer. What does this mean? It means that Pokemon trainers that have finished Pokémon X or Pokémon Y will soon have something else to sink their teeth into. A large number of fans have been waiting for this remake seeing as both first and second generation received remakes years ago.

What does Nintendo have to say about it? Not much actually, they know that fans know what this means. Nintendo has given a worldwide date that is surprisingly soon, that announcement alone is enough to make many jump for joy. For now, Nintendo is allowing everyone to speculate and celebrate.

This could mean the return of secret bases. In the original Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire you could find specific locations and customize your own secret base. These secret bases could unite with Streetpass and Spotpass to incorporate a revival of past mechanics that become much more prominent with the connectivity of the 3DS. Don’t forget “TEAM AQUA RULEZ!”

Pokemon Contests will most likely be coming back too. These mini games involve customizing pokemon to make them more individualistic. In fact, the only way for Feebas to evolve into Milotic was to get max beauty through these contests.

With so few details being released, nobody is fully aware as to what could be in this remake. Could Mega Stones be making an appearance? Will Latias and Latios officially show of their new Mega Evolutions? Will new Mega Evolutions emerge?

Another big advancement to bring to this remake is the graphics. The sixth generation of Pokemon features excellent new perspectives and shows the Kalos region in glorious 3D. The Hoenn region is now in the spotlight to become something stunning.

Are you ready? Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are set to release worldwide this November. After this will the Pokemon Company remake Diamond and Pearl? Such news may depend on the success of these new remakes.
